Der SIMATIC IPC477D ist ein lüfterloser Embedded Panel PC mit bis zu einem 3rd Gen. Intel Core i7 Prozessor für anspruchsvolle Visualisierungs- und Steuerungsaufgaben - mit Single- oder Multitouch Display.
Der SIMATIC IPC477D ist für den Einsatz direkt an der Maschine konzipiert, bei der die Kombination aus Robustheit und höchster Zuverlässigkeit im Vordergrund steht (Sicherheit einer embedded Plattform) und die Offenheit eines PC zusätzlich gefordert ist (z.B. Baugruppenerweiterung und Anschluss von Peripheriegeräten wie Drucker, Tastaturen, usw.).
Durch die geringe Einbautiefe kann er auch bei beengten Einbauverhältnissen betrieben werden.
Der PC wird sowohl in der Fertigungs- als auch in der Prozessautomatisierung eingesetzt, eingebaut in Schaltschränken und -pulten, 19“-Schränken/Racks.
