Beschreibung
Der MAR-2000 ist ein kompakter, einfacher und programmierbarer Wireless-Mobilfunk-Router in RISC-basierter Architektur und verfügt über starke Fähigkeiten beim Wireless-Routing.
Mit einem eingebauten GPS-Modul, umfassenden Funktionen für die Kommunikation nach dem Mobilfunk-Standard HSPA+ und nach den WLAN-Standards 802.11a/b/g/n, unabhängigen Netzschaltern an seinen Mobilfunkmodul-Steckverbindern sowie hoher Thermotoleranz erfüllt der MAR-2000 die Spezifikationen der Norm EN 50155. Die eingebauten Speicher - 32 MB NOR-Flash-ROM und 512 MB SDRAM - sind groß genug für die Installation Ihrer eigenen Anwendungssoftware.
Der 512 MB große NAND-Flash-Speicher kann als zusätzliche Ressource zum Speichern von Daten genutzt werden, und der eingebaute CompactFlash-Sockel ermöglicht bei Bedarf eine Erweiterung des Speichers. Das eingebaute GPS-Modul unterstützt die Geofencing-Funktion, sodass sich das Gerät ideal für das Management von Funkverbindungen in Betriebsumgebungen eignet, die sich über mehrere WANs erstrecken, wie es bei Schienenfahrzeug- und anderen Fahrzeuganwendungen häufig der Fall ist.
Fährt ein Zug in eine andere Region, so trifft er dort häufig auf Switches, die unterschiedliche Wireless-Schnittstellen wie WLAN, UMTS und HSPA+ unterstützen. Der MAR-2000 gewährleistet durch seine Multi-WAN-Fähigkeit und Backup-Funktionen, dass Ihre Wireless-Verbindungen stets verfügbar, stabil und zuverlässig sind.
Die Serie MAR-2000 bietet den zusätzlichen Vorteil, dass sie auch Ausführungen für den erweiterten Temperaturbereich umfasst, die für den zuverlässigen Betrieb in extremen Betriebsumgebungen mit Temperaturen von -25 bis 70°C ausgelegt sind.
