Overview
MultiTech announces a new cellular module firmware version for MTCAP3-LEU7 devices.
This updated firmware has many updates and improvements. See Quectel Release Notes for complete list of updates. Changes in the release notes are those that are greater than 01.001.01.001.
The purpose of this Product Change Notification is to inform customers when these devices will begin shipping from MultiTech.

Customers
Review the information in this product change notification and forward to others within your organization who are actively involved with the deployment of the Conduit AP 300 Access Point gateway models MTCAP3-LEU7.
Note that there may be differences between module firmware versions. MultiTech recommends evaluating the updated radio firmware version in your current application to understand the impact of any differences.
We recommend that you use DeviceHQ® if you wish to update radios in the field. Firmware can be made available if you wish to update any of your devices, please contact technical support.

Forward this product change notification to others within your organization who are actively involved in the sale or support of the models listed in this notification.
Forward this product change notification to customers and encourage them to evaluate the updated cellular radio firmware version in their custom application.

All MTCAP3-LEU7 devices shipping from MultiTech with a date of manufacture (DOM) of June 1, 2026 and later will include the new cellular module and updated cellular radio firmware version.

The chassis label (located on the back of each MTCAP3-LEU7 device) includes critical device information, including the date of manufacture.
