We would like to inform you that Moxa is going to make changes to the AIG-301 Series.
These changes will be implemented by May 05, 2025.
Please review the details below to determine how these changes will affect your products and/or operations.
What will change?
Software
New Features
- Adds the Telit LE910C4-WWXD module support for AIG-301-T-AP-AZU-LX/ AIG-301-AP-AZULX
Fixed Issues
- An instance of the DO value set by Modbus did not update correctly.
- An unresponsive refresh button on the I/O page.
- An error message "Sparkplug service is busy (please try again later)" appeared when configuring Sparkplug.
- Selection of the "Only send changed values" option for Publish Immediately mode in Sparkplug did not save.
Known Issues
- The Sparkplug configuration will be lost if power is cycled within 10 seconds after saving the configuration. Note: Sparkplug configuration will take at least one minute when many messages or tags are selected. Wait at least one minute after saving the configuration.
Enhancements
- The DLM Client for the Moxa DLM Service now implements a backoff mechanism to prevent
excessive message repetition during high-frequency events, optimizing events reported while
ensuring critical notifications remain visible.
- - If the same event occurs five times within a 5-minute window, the system enters backoff
mode, progressively increasing the message delay up to a maximum of 60 minutes.
- During backoff, events are sent as compressed messages with an indication of suppression count (e.g., "backed off for x times").
- Normal message delivery is resumed once the event stops occurring or after a device reboot.
Notes
- The upgrade process from firmware v1.6 to v1.7 will require approximately 20 minutes.
Hardware
- The cellular module of the AIG-301-AP-AZU-LX/ AIG-301-T-AP-AZU-LX will be changed from the Telit LE910C4-AP to the Telit LE910C4-WWXD.
- The AIG-301-AP-AZU-LX doesn?t support the Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM) certification.
