We would like to inform you that Moxa is going to make changes to the AIG-302 Series.
These changes will be implemented by May 05, 2025.
Please review the details below to determine how these changes will affect your products and/or operations.
What will change?
Software
New Features
- Adds the Telit LE910C4-WWXD module support for the AIG-302-T-AP-AZU-LX.c
Fixed Issues
- . Some provisioning settings for the Azure IoT Edge did not update correctly after importing a configuration file.
- A case of incorrect I/O tags created by the TagHub or Modbus server.
- A failure to map coil/discrete tags from the Modbus server.
- The GPS configuration option "Automatically adjust coordinates for GPS changes" was not applied.
- CVE-2024-24557, CVE-2023-44487, CVE-2024-21626, and BDSA-2024-5.
Known Issues
- Hot swapping of SIM cards is not supported. Reboot the device after replacing the SIMs for the changes to take effect.
- The HTTP Service status in the DLM Service Status is shown as "disabled" when "Redirect HTTP to HTTPS" is enabled on the Home > Security > HTTPS page.
- When the optional Wi-Fi module is installed, flashing the firmware image via the USB device is not possible. We strongly recommend using an upgrade pack to update the AIG-302.
Enhancements
When the cellular connection experiences an unexpected disconnection, the AIG-302 will perform
three software resets, followed by three hardware resets. If these actions are ineffective, the system
will trigger a reboot.
Note: If the cellular module is unresponsive during the boot-up process, the
inspection will be suspended to prevent continuous rebooting.
Changes
Refactored the OTA (Over-The-Air) upgrade behavior to use a pre-defined package list with specific package versions instead of upgrading all the packages to the latest versions from the Debian source lists.
Notes
- The upgrade package is approximately 200 MB,, and the process may take up to 40 minutes.
Hardware
The cellular module of the AIG-302-T-AP-AZU-LX will be changed from the Telit LE910C4-AP to the Telit LE910C4-WWXD.
