We would like to inform you that Moxa is going to make changes to the LM-7000H-4GPoE and LM-7000H-4PoE.
These changes will be implemented by February 02, 2026.
Please review the details below to determine how these changes will affect your products and/or operations.
What will change?
Changes will be made to the LM-7000H-4GPoE and LM-7000H-4PoE to upgrade support for IEEE 802.3bt. The scope of the changes includes line module hardware change, MDS-G4000/MDS-G4000-4XGS Series software updates, and certifications renew.
The following changes will be implemented in the new versions (V3.0.0):
- PoE IEEE 802.3bt will be supported.
- The new version will only be supported on MDS-G4000/MDS-G4000-4XGS Series firmware v5.1 and later versions.
- The new version will not comply with the PT-G7728/PT-G7828 Series. PoE function will not be supported in the PT-G7728/G7828 Series after the new version released.
- Starting from February 02, 2026, only the new version (V3.0.0) compatible with the MDS-G4000/MDS-G4000-4XGS series will be available for order. The current version (V2.0.0) compatible with PT-G7728/G7828 series will no longer be available.

- V2.0.0 will be available for order till January 30th, 2026.
