Der Marine Computer MC-7270-MP-T ist mit der dritten und damit neuesten Generation der Prozessorfamilie Intel® Core™, ausgerüstet, dem i7 3555LE. Dieser bietet umfassende I/O-Anschlussmöglichkeiten, u.a. 8 NMEA-0183-Ports, 4 serielle Ports, 4 Gigabit Ethernet Ports sowie 6 USB-2.0 und 3 SuperSpeed USB-3.0 Ports.
Der MC-7270-MP-T bietet vom Konzept her überragende PC-Leistungen, die bei Schifffahrtsanwendungen neue Maßstäbe in puncto Flexibilität und Kontrollmöglichkeiten setzen.
Der nach höchsten Vorgaben an die Qualität und Strapazierfähigkeit entwickelte und in Marinequalität gebaute Computer MC-7270-MP-T ist in einem robusten Chassis untergebracht und verkraftet Vibrationen bis 1 g. Dies gewährleistet ein Höchstmaß an Betriebssicherheit beim Einsatz in rauen Betriebsumgebungen und unter schwierigen Bedingungen.
Mit seiner geringen Leistungsaufnahme stellt der Computer unter thermischen Aspekten eine optimale Lösung dar. Er lässt sich problemlos in den Brückensystemen von Schiffen installieren. Ein weiteres Plus sind der PCIe-Anschluss (x16) und die beiden universellen PCI-Steckplätze, in denen der Anwender problemlos unterschiedlichste Adapter wie z.B.
